Day 1: Bishkek - Burana - Issyk Kul northern shore
The guide will meet and accompany you to Bishkek. The road to the capital city of Kyrgyzstan takes 40-minute from the airport. In course of the tour you will explore the significant sight of the city such as Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic and many others sights. After visiting major sites of the city you will be transferred to Issyk Kul Lake. This lake that is lays among high mountains on the elevation of 1608 m. above sea level will captivate you by its uniqueness beauty. This celestial lake is known to be the second largest mountainous lake in the world. The other name of this lake is "the pearl of Central Asia". The water of the lake possesses medical qualities due to the salt on it. On the way to it you will have a break at Burana Tower of the 11th century minaret and an open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). The night will be in a hotel.
Day 2: Issyk Kul - Grigorievskoye - Semenovskoye - Karakol
Toady you will be transferred to Karakol town. On the way to it you will have a tour in Semenovskoye and Grigorievskoye gorges, which are known for their exceptional beauty. You will me amazed to know that they are connected at the end. During the tour you will have an opportunity to witness a breathtaking view of great mountains covered with snow at the tops and slopes grown by blue and green pine trees. In the bottom of the gorge you will have an opportunity to see breathtaking lakes. Then in course of the tour you will drive along the northern shore of the lake to Karakol town. Here you will have a travel such sights as the Dungan mosque that was built in a Chinese style without using a single metal tack. Next showplace is an old wooden Orthodox Church. The night is spent in a guesthouse.
Day 3: Karakol - Jeti Oguz - Issyk Kul southern shore - Bishkek
In course of the travel you will have a tour in Jeti Oguz gorge. This gorge also known as Seven Bulls where you will be impressed by the red rock formation. Here you can witness the Broken Heart Mountain moreover you can hike 20 minutes to the top of this mountains where you can enjoy the stunning beauty of the panorama view. Then you will have a stop in Bokonbaeva village. Tours to this place are very popular due to the local eagle hunter. He uses the traditional way of hunting with the help of the eagle. Eagle hunts hares and foxes. You will hear many exciting facts and stories about it. Then you will continue your drive to Bishkek. Overnight is in the hotel.
Day 4: Bishkek - Osh - Guliston - Khudjand
Morning flight to Osh city and further transfer to Tajik border. The road will go through the picturesque passes and mountains. Moreover you will have a drive via Batken region where it will be possible to witness the famous apricot trees and unique flower called Aigul. After crossing the border Tajik guide will meet and take you to Khujand city. During the tour you will have a drive through the Anzob pass which altitude is 3 372 m. Here you can observe one of the best views that you will have ever seen. Upon arrival to Khujand you will learn that it is the second largest city in Tajikistan. Moreover you will be amazed that this city is located on the Syr Darya River at the mouth of the Fergana Valley. Its population is 149,000. Khujand is the capital of the northernmost province of Tajikistan, now calls Sughd. You will be able to enjoy Cultural Palace of Khujant that is famous for being the place of choosing Tajikistan's first president. After this we will visit Central Mosque that locates in the center of the city. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 5: Khudjand - Iskanderkul Lake
Today you will have a tour in Iskanderkul lake which altitude is 2 255 m. a. s. l. On the way you will know that this lake lays in Fann Mountains. That is considered to be one of the best sights to visit in Central Asia. While being here you will have an opportunity to stroll along the beach and enjoy pristine nature. Moreover you will have a chance to see the waterfall the road to which takes 30 minutes. Tajikistan is the country that is considered to be second among the CIS countries for volume of water resources. Tajikistan possesses more than 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8000 glaciers. Day 6: Iskanderkul - 7 lakes - Penjakent
Toady you are going to explore the famous Fann Mountains that is considered to be one of the most visited hiking areas. While having short hiking tour you will have a chance to go along the Seven Lakes or Marquzor Lakes site where we will have a tour. Here you can have time to through a gorge where 7 lakes are situated. These seven lakes are famous for having different form as well as different altitudes. In course of the travel you will meet local people that can tell you about their way of life as well as culture and traditions. After it you will drive to Penjakent also known as a city in Khujand area of Tajikistan. That you can find on breathtaking Zeravshan river valley. There is possibility that this city appeared on the five villages of the 5th -8thcenturies AD. It used to be craft center of Sogd that even received name - "Central Asian Pompeii". This city is known to have a ruler's palace, two temples, markets, rich dwelling houses decorated with numerous paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods. These remains were found only in last century but nowadays tourists can see it full of dwelling houses and office buildings, the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen, and fire worshipers church. Night is in a local guesthouse.
Day 7: Penjakent - Jartepo - Samarkand
In the morning you will be transferred to the border. After it you will be transferred to Samarkand city for a tour. Upon arrival to it you will be impressed by the fact that this city located in the valley of the river Zerafshan. Moreover Samarkand is well known as the second largest city of Uzbekistan that has similar age one of the cities in Babylon or Rome. In course of the tour you will have a chance to enjoy the most important attractions such as Registan square, Shakhi-Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. The first sight to observe is Registan Squarewhich is known to be a complex of three fascinating Madrasahs of 15-17th centuries. Then is the architectural complex of 11th-15 centuries - Shakhi-Zindeh that was listed at UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bibi Khanum Mosque was built for favorite Tamerlane's wife, after his victorious campaign in India. During the night you will be in a hotel.
Day 8: Samarkand city - Gijduvan - Bukhara
Today you will drive to Bukhara. On the way to it you will have a stop of the one of the most popular places among tourists, Gijduvan village. Here can visit famous private pottery workshop. The Gijduvan ceramics school has deep roots and in this village the method of making passed through generations. Toad y you will see the 6th generation of Narzullayevs family who are glorified Gijduvan school ceramics all over the world. The ceramics from this school is popular due to its geometric pattern as well as using green and blue colors in the product design. Continue our trip to Bukhara. Night is in a hotel.
Day 9: Bukhara
The whole day is dedicated to a city tour. The first sight for exploration is the oldest citadel in Bukhara of to the 4th century named Citadel Ark. This citadel was used as a palace for several dynasties of Bukhara Empire. After it will be a masterwork of 9th -10th century known as Samanids mausoleum. Next destinations of the tour are Chashma Ayub, meaning Job's well and Bolo-Hauz mosque that is famous for a mosque of forty columns built in honor of Bukhara governor Abu-Fayud Khan. After it you can stroll along the shopping domes and visit one of the most famous madrasahs of Bukhara, Nodir Divan Begi. This sight is also a part of Lyabi House Ensemble. The tour will end with visiting Poi Kalon complex, the unique sample of architectural art of Bukhara. It consists of three structures built in the 12th - 16th centuries: Kalon minaret, Kalon mosque and Mir Arab Madrasah. Night is in a hotel.
Day 10: Bukhara - Khiva
Today you are going to visit Khiva. But before you will know that Bukhara is known as "town museum" due to the more than 140 architectural monuments of the Middle Ages can be found here. During the tour you will see that city has narrow streets, green parks and fabulous gardens, historical and architectural monuments belong to different epochs, and situates near to each other. The drive to Khiva will go through the famous Kizilkum desert. During the travel you will have an opportunity to witness Amu Darya river, which is noted to be the deepest river in Central Asia. This river is appeared due to the fusion of the Panj and Vakhsh rivers in Tajikistan and flows into the Aral Sea. After coming to Khiva you will have free time. Night is in a hotel.
Day 11: Khiva - Urgench - Tashkent
In course of the tour you will see the famous inner city of Khiva, Ichan-Qala. This is the oldest city in Uzbekistan which encircled by strong walls. Here you will have an opportunity to witness here ruins of centuries old sound buildings, palaces, mosques, Madrasahs, Mausoleums, Minarets, Caravanserais and Bathhouses made this place to the city-monument. This city has about 400 traditional dwelling houses and 60 architectural monuments. It should be noted that in 1969 Ichan-Qala became a historical and architectural conservation district. While exploring this site you will also visit Kunya-Ark fortress. This fortress is considered to be a main and the greatest attraction here. And the most remarkable site in it is the Kunya-Ark fortress dating back to 17th century, detected by Muhammad Arang Khan that are known as Kalta Minor minaret and Tash Khouvli palace, and magnificent example of Khorezm architectural craftsmanship of 1830s. In the evening driver will take to Tashkent by flight. Overnight is in a hotel.
